Well, I am not asking this question to myself because I know my design rocks 
but in my today’s article I am going to tell you some design mistakes that most of the new bloggers usually make, so when any visitor visit their blog, they say “Why this blog design sucks”.
Bad Typography
By typography I mean font style and size. Always remember, you’ve to impress your visitor with first impression of your blog design, so it is must to have a good typography. I am using Verdana fonts in my blog and I recommend the same to you.
No search box
WordPress and Blogger by default gives an option to add search box to your blog by adding Widgets. A blog design that do not have a search box, sucks.
Crowded with ads
Some bloggers place huge number of ads in order to earn more. But it is totally a wrong assumption, a first time visitor needs easy navigation to your blog’s content therefore, your blog should not be crowded with Google ads. If you’ve good content do not worry about making money, your content will help you to earn from your blog.
Useless Widgets
I’ve some many blogspot blogs that places useless widgets in their sidebar like showing locations where their visitors are coming from, MP3 songs, chat box etc. Such widgets makes your blog load very slow and can hamper your blog traffic. A blog design sucks that has such useless widgets.
Before selecting a blog design, do keep all the above mentioned points in your mind. What do you think about the points discussed above ?

yeah you are right, many bloggers do use widgets but they don’t know that indirectly they are loosing the traffic.
