How do you index our blog in Google? Most of you will say, through Google Webmaster tools. I know its the known and official technique to tell Google about your blog but this method takes some time. Though Google is very fast in indexing sites but you will be surprised to know that Google can index your new blog in less than 5 minutes. How? I’ll tell you.

The trick
Suppose you’ve a blog say XYZ and you want to tell Google about your new blog so that Google can index it and show blog’s articles in search results. The best known method to index your site to Google is to introduce your site through a trusted website. OK, I’ll tell this in detail.
Step1. Before submitting your blog to Google, first select a popular and trusted site from your niche that accepts guests posts.
Step2. Now, write a guest post on that article and in that article give the link of your own blog.
Step3. You’re done!
The result
When the guest post will get published, Google bots will visit that blog in which you wrote the guest post. As the bots will crawl all the links in that article, they will find a new link on that article and that link is your own blog link.
As Google bots crawled your blog link from a trusted and popular site, they will index your blog immediately i.e in less than 5 minutes.
So, if you’re starting a new blog and want to submit your sitemap to Google, follow this method and get better results.

Awesome tip man, but will this works ??
Btw, what you mean by popular websites, websites with high rankings or visitors…
like in a tech niche, popular sites are techcrunch, Labnol …. In blogging we ave PRoblogger, COpyBlogger, BloggingTips … Did you get it ?
Does this have to be a “guest post”, or is a published comment with a blog link, i.e. Workout Blog, just as good?
Hi Bryan,
It can be a guest post or any kind of backlink in the article. The blog link in the comment will not help you in indexing your site, as most of the blogs have no-follow links in comment.
No follow means that Google bots will not index those links at all. So, giving blog link in comments will not help you to index your blog.
The link must appear inside the post/article.
