Interlinking, as the name suggests! In my today’s article I am going to tell you how you can drive traffic by INTERLINKING your posts and also posts from other blogs, I’ll tell you how interlinking is best for SEO and I recommend to make it a habit to interlink you articles in order to be a successful blogger. Lets analyze interlinking in detail.
What is Interlinking
Well, as a blogger I define interlinking as “method of linking other articles with a relevant keyword inside a new article“. Example, above you can see that I’ve linked my previous article with a keyword SEO. This process is called Interlinking. The link you’re giving can be of your old posts or posts from other blogs.
Need of Interlinking
I feel a great need of interlinking because :
It is good in terms of SEO : Google does not index all your articles and it is an art to force Google to index all your posts in your blog. With interlinking, the linked articles gets indexed by search engines. If you’ve some popular articles in your blog, open it and link your other articles with proper keyword.
Increases page views : Yes, interlinking helps in keeping your readers on your blog for a long time, thus decreasing bounce rate and increasing page views.
Gives exposure to your old articles : Interlinking help to bring up your old posts.
How interlinking will increase traffic ?
OK, the main purpose of my today’s article in hidden in this answer. If you’ve a new blog and want to get traffic and backlinks you can use Interlinking. How ? I’ll tell you.
- The first step is, write some superb articles say “xyz”
- Now, find some popular blogs in your niche and tell them to interlink your “xyz” article with any existing or new article and in return you also do the same. Link any one of his good article in your existing article.
- Do this task for as many blogs as you can.
- The more you do it, the more traffic and backlinks you will get and in few months you will surely get a good page rank.

Yes i think interlinking is a greatest method of getting more exposures to your older posts. This will get you more visitors and also if they are properly anchor text-ed it will create magic.

I thought interlink was linking pages of your own blog. In my opinion, asking people to interchange links is to much tima consuming.
But I like very much your blog, I think is very easy to read and with good content. As you say, you share everything.
