How To Give Shadow Effect To Post Titles In WordPress Thesis Theme

by Gagan · 10 comments

I usually say that it must to post at least one article per day, but I feel very sad when I personally not able to follow this rule. This is due to my busy schedule and exams. Ok, now lets come to the topic, today I am going to tell you how to give a shadow effect to post titles in Thesis Theme by just using a simple CSS code. The shadow effect in post titles looks really nice and attractive. Lets start:

Before starting this tutorial, first backup your existing theme, so that if any problem occurs you can restore it back anytime.

  • Now, log into your WordPress dashboard and under Thesis Options click on Custom File Editor
  • Now, open custom.ss file and enter the following code:
[php].custom .entry-title a

{

color:#bd2818;

text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #fbb9b2;

}[/php]

  • You can change the color codes according to your needs.
  • And at last, save your work and you’re done. Have a look at the screenshot:

In the image above I’ve given light red shadow effect. I hope you like this little tutorial to customize post titles in Thesis Theme. Now, change your theme look and enjoy !!

Did you start off with the thesis theme or move to it later? I have been considering theme alternatives lately.
